The Inside Sales Product Specialist – New Logo is responsible for generating new business in the AMER Territory SMB segment. This job is assigned a sales quota and performance is measured by meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual targets for new business generation. This position reports to an Inside Sales Product Specialist Manager, and will work closely with broader Autodesk Field Sales Team, Customer Success, and Business Development.
Responsibilities
Applies sales skills associated with an inside sales model; strong verbal and written skills required
Manage full sales cycle from discovery to close for net new Autodesk Construction Cloud customers
Understand customer issues and requirements in order to recommend a specific Autodesk product or industry solution
Maintain advanced knowledge of Autodesk products in your portfolio, competitive products, and industry trends as well as Autodesk Subscription and Advanced Support
Demonstrate product to customer and connect business outcomes to required capabilities
Maintain strong understanding of promotions and campaigns related to doing business with Autodesk and/or its Partners
Negotiate contract terms with customer and complete sales order transactions
Utilize Salesforce.com to document all customer opportunities and customer activity
Maintain Salesforce.com opportunities using probability definitions embedded to categorize opportunities accordingly to accurately forecast against plans and targets weekly
Build strong relationships for business planning with the extended Autodesk field sales teams
Respond to customer inquiries in a professional and prompt manner
Work closely with Activation/Onboarding team to ensure new customers have a great experience partnering with Autodesk
Join in person meetings for events, conferences, marketing events, etc. Up to 20% travel. Primarily remote work
Minimum Qualifications
Technical product knowledge and capability to demonstrate complex Autodesk Construction Cloud solutions
Familiarity with sales process and certain selling methodologies i.e. MEDDPICC, Critical 6, or BANT
Familiarity with CRM applications (i.e., Salesforce)
Ability to adapt quickly and manage difficult situations while remaining upbeat and positive at all times
Strong work ethic: Team oriented, self-starter, high energy, and results oriented
Highly proficient computer skills including SFDC, email, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based sales roles, we expect a starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) between $85,900 and $124,300. OTE is comprised of base salary plus commission target for sales roles. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.Sales Careers
