**Sales & Sales Administration Representative** Copeland is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to support both sales and administrative functions in a fast-paced environment. This role plays a key part in driving revenue growth while supporting operational efficiency through lead management, data integrity, and customer engagement.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**Sales & Lead Management**
+ Qualify and manage inbound sales leads based on customer needs.
+ Initiate and close sales processes to drive revenue.
+ Utilize CRM tools to route qualified opportunities or demos to sales executives.
+ Maintain CRM systems with updated lead and opportunity data to support accurate forecasting.
+ Handle account retention, maintenance, and product training coordination.
**Market Research & Lead Generation**
+ Conduct market research on specified verticals (e.g., produce, meat, pharmaceuticals) to identify new opportunities.
+ Generate leads based on research findings.
+ Prequalify potential memberships per Cargo Solutions requirements and seek stakeholder approval.
+ Identify relevant regional trade shows for attendance.
**CRM & Data Management**
+ Maintain accuracy and upkeep of customer accounts in Salesforce.
+ Identify and clean duplicate records in Salesforce for lead and vendor lists.
+ Ensure customer profiles, including billing address, shed information, seasonality, and commodity details, are current.
**Reporting & Presentation Support**
+ Generate customer reports for pre- and post-meeting preparations.
+ Create territory sales dashboards and assist in presentations.
+ Develop proposed trip routes and post-trip reports for sales teams.
**Compliance & Customer Management**
+ Track compliance with retailer-mandated programs and provide non-compliance lists.
+ Identify inconsistencies in ordering patterns by analyzing order history.
+ Ensure technical and training cases are completed promptly by coordinating across departments.
**Planning & Administrative Support**
+ Participate in territory strategy meetings with sales teams.
+ Maintain JIRA ticket records and provide resolution updates for customer technical issues.
+ Attend training sessions, workshops, and focus group discussions.
+ Provide ad hoc reports to support sales goals and contribute to strategic initiatives.
**Qualifications:**
+ Fluency in English required; bilingual proficiency in Spanish preferred.
+ Strong sales skills with the ability to qualify and close opportunities.
+ Proficiency in CRM platforms like Salesforce and data management tools.
+ Excellent organizational and analytical skills to support compliance tracking and reporting.
+ Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and departments.
