Trimble is recruiting for a Manager of Mid-Market Customer Sales for the SketchUp team. This position will be based in Westminster, CO, and will include managing a team of sales reps responsible for closing renewals and upselling existing customers.
What you will do:
The Manager of Mid-Market Customer Sales is a member of the Trimble SketchUp direct sales team covering primarily Architecture, Engineering and Construction Markets. This position combines building construction industry knowledge with sales management skills to result in an aggressive growth of Trimble’s SketchUp Pro business. Primary responsibility is to lead a well-performing team to meet/exceed sales revenue, profitability, and budgetary objectives by leveraging strategic planning, people management, enterprise sales and customer relationship skills. This will be a hands-on position and require the knowledge, skill and positive attitude to negotiate corporate agreements in person and over the phone, and to assist the sales team in doing the same.
Specific Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales and go-to-market strategies that meet/exceed overall corporate goals
Build a strong and cohesive team that is highly motivated and customer focused
Plan and direct all renewal/upsell sales including planning and implementing forecasts, staffing, and team training
Manage and monitor key sales pipeline and performance indicators to ensure financial goals
Conduct regional sales forecasts, territory planning, demand generation, deal strategy development, and trend analysis
Drive continuous improvement of sales processes to enhance productivity and efficiency
Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing and awareness strategies
Handle escalations and participate directly in complex sales situations to close deals
Negotiate and/or resolve disputes and ensure customer satisfaction in challenging deals
Drive recruiting process to ensure positions are filled in a timely manner and with high quality talent
Responsible for coaching, performance management, and career development of staff
Foster a positive, hard-working and results-oriented culture – lead by example
Ensure effective communication within and between functions
Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures at all times
What you will bring:

Significant software technology experience
Proven track record of successful sales and managing a team of sales reps responsible for renewals and upsells
Demonstrated expertise in selling strategies and methodologies
Executive presence and demeanor with consultative/execution relationship building selling skills
Ability to perform in a fast-paced, results-focused, environment
Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management
Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings
Personal computer literacy including, Google Docs, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM tools
Undergraduate degree and 5+ years of experience in a sales leadership role
Some travel required
Salary+Comission=185k OTE +/-
