Inside Sales Lead

Essential Functions

Drive Sales Performance: Achieves and exceeds quarterly sales targets by collaborating with sales representatives. Enhances the sales process by analyzing new customer pipelines and proactively prospecting new business opportunities.Account Planning & Collaboration: Partners with field sales to develop comprehensive customer account plans that maximize opportunities and drive sales activity across new and existing accounts.Lead Management & Qualification: Oversees lead identification, qualification, and nurturing throughout the sales cycle. Ensures timely follow-up and conversion of leads into opportunities.Customer Engagement: Builds and maintains strong relationships with existing customers and partners. Identifies upsell and cross-sell opportunities through proactive outreach and call planning.Renewals Support: Coordinates with account teams to manage and support contract renewals, ensuring timely communication, pricing alignment, and customer satisfaction.CRM Management: Maintains accurate and up-to-date records in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce.com). Tracks sales activities, lead status, pipeline changes, and customer interactions to support forecasting and reporting.Pricing & Proposal Development: Supports pricing strategy by gathering competitive intelligence and customer insights. Assists in the creation of pricing proposals and ensures alignment with business objectives.Presentation & Content Development: Contributes to the development of sales presentations, proactive proposals, and tailored marketing materials to support client engagement and bid defenses.Virtual & Field Engagement: Conducts customer meetings via phone, email, and online platforms. Participates in field visits and joint calls with sales representatives as needed.Sales Strategy & Communication: Participates in strategy calls, bid defenses, and internal planning sessions. Communicates effectively with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency.Market Intelligence: Monitors and reports on competitor activities, market trends, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and product positioning.Training & Enablement: Maintains up-to-date knowledge of products, services, and relevant therapeutic areas. Supports onboarding and training of new inside sales team members as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree  ReqFive (5) years relevant sales or account management experience ReqPossesses knowledge of key marketplace issues for the phamaceutical industry and related businesses.Solid knowledge of one or more IQVIA specialty products and the impact that the product can achieve when implemented within a client’s business processes.Familiarity with IQVIA core products, account management, and information solutions/consulting services portfolio.Individual must be a superior and successful sales person, have excellent presentation and writing skills, act with a sense of urgency, and be able to work both independently and within a team environment.Must have successful experience identifying and closing new business opportunities and developing positive relationships at all levels of client management and within the IQVIA sales, consulting and marketing teams.Key Characteristics: Revenue Driven, knowledgeable, consultative, problem solver, customer focused, creative, resourceful, fast & flexible, team Player, organized, effective negotiator.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $73,000.00 - $182,600.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
