**About the Role:**
Dow Jones is seeking a driven and results-oriented Inside Sales Associate to join our expanding OPIS sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling a defined portfolio of chemicals and/or energy-related market intelligence products across the APAC region. **You Will:**
+ Proactively engage prospective clients via phone, video, and email to promote OPIS solutions
+ Respond to inbound leads and follow up on marketing-generated interest within agreed timeframes
+ Manage the full sales cycle from qualification to close for assigned leads and opportunities
+ Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and accurately forecast performance using Salesforce
+ Conduct discovery calls to understand customer needs and position relevant solutions
+ Deliver clear, value-driven sales pitches aligned with the client’s business goals
+ Support account retention and customer satisfaction by addressing queries and ensuring timely follow-up
+ Collaborate with the broader sales team by sharing qualified leads and market insights
+ Monitor competitor activity and provide feedback to inform sales strategy and positioning
+ Generate referrals and identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
+ Stay informed about OPIS product offerings and industry developments
+ Prepare and submit activity reports, pipeline updates, and sales forecasts as required
**You Have:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Business, or a related field preferred
+ 3–5 years of B2B inside sales experience, ideally in information services, SaaS, or the chemicals/energy industry
+ Proven success in managing the end-to-end sales cycle through remote selling
+ Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at various levels
+ Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)
+ Fluency in English is required; additional APAC languages (e.g., Korean, Japanese, Mandarin) are an advantage
+ Self-motivated, adaptable, and collaborative, with a strong desire to grow in a fast-paced environment
+ General interest in energy and chemical market dynamics, and an ability to communicate product value in that context
