INSIDE SALES ACCOUNT MGR II At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world. **Job Overview** We are seeking a full time Technical Inside Sales Representative in our Global Application Tooling Division. This position will be located at our Tlalnepantla, Mexico, office and will provide a high level of service to colleagues, customers, and channel partners throughout North America and occasionally in support of other global regions as needed. This position is a hybrid role, so the successful candidate may work from home or the office depending on the needs of the business unit. This person will be a central resource working closely with internal, onsite, and remote colleagues from all divisions, customers of all sizes and types, and authorized distributor partners from their corporate offices to their branch offices through North America. Contact will be via multiple means, including phone, email, website, chat, etc · Directly facilitate all requests for tooling identification and promoting every level of tool relevant to the application needs. This includes steering customers towards TE components that may be currently utilizing another manufacturer’s component. · Maintain project records, documentation, and data in SFDC and other Microsoft programs. Pull in customer care and field service when an opportunity needs to be redirected – always with a personal hand-off. · Ability to datamine, understand and create reports, and find information as needed to assist in maintaining acceptable turnaround times on inquiries. · Use thorough knowledge of products, processes, and policies to support and exceed requirements and expectations, providing information not yet requested in anticipation of the question and to provide an efficient and higher level of service. · Effectively utilize technology, reporting, and process to drive efficiency. · Provide timely project updates or findings to reporting manager via phone, email, company chat, etc., and update appropriate records in SFDC. · Participate and lead technical product trainings in person and virtually as needed in an effort to support live and future opportunities, as well as to coach and train colleagues and channel partners to be more effective in their roles to help grow tooling mindshare and marketshare. · Proactively work on annual performance and personal goals throughout the year. · Develop an understanding of competitive products and our advantages in order to demonstrate the value TE brings to any application. · Work closely with manager to support business through the channel as well as directly and communicate identified challenges to ensure they are appropriately addressed. · Be prepared to use your experience and individual strengths and talents and to share your ideas to improve our processes. · Stay in compliance with any and all TE required training, including trainings related to technical matters, ethics & conduct, business acumen, etc. · From day one, work to build relationships across the organization to encourage cross-BU cooperation, increased mindshare, and revenue growth. **What your background should look like** · 3-year degree preferred or equivalent work experience with technical education, etc. · Strength in using SalesForce.com is required · Ability to work with minimal supervision and collaboratively with others · Proficient with all Microsoft products (Outlook, Excel, Word) · Proficient with or ability to learn SAP, Business Insights, and other reporting programs · Experience with or ability to learn MS Team \#LI-Hybrid Travel:25-50% Location: Tlalnepantla. **Competencies** SET : Strategy, Execution, Talent (for managers) Location: TLALNEPANTLA, MEX, MX, 54060 City: TLALNEPANTLA State: MEX Country/Region: MX Travel: 25% to 50% Requisition ID: 139706 Alternative Locations: Function: Sales & Marketing TE Connectivity and its subsidiaries, affiliates, and operating units (collectively, the "Company") is committed to providing a work environment that prohibits discrimination on the basis of age, color, disability, ethnicity, marital status, national origin, race, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, disability or any other characteristics protected by applicable law or regulation.
