Johnson Service Group (JSG) is currently looking for an experienced Inside Sales Representative with excellent verbal and written communication skills, that can work independently or as part of a team. This is a direct hire opportunity with a leading manufacturer of mechanical components located in the Hicksville NY vicinity.
Pay $75K
Key Responsibilities:
Find New Sales Opportunities Initiate contact with prospective resellers through cold calls, cold emails, and follow-up on inbound leads to generate new business. Identify and qualify leads through research, leveraging CRM platforms and industry tools to build a strong pipeline. Research Customers Gather key insights into potential resellers’ business needs, revenue, pain points, and current vendor relationships to tailor effective sales pitches. Utilize industry research tools and CRM systems to gather data on prospects. Follow Up with Resellers Make regular follow-up calls or emails to ensure customer needs are being met and to introduce new product/service offerings. Engage with existing clients to uncover upsell and cross-sell opportunities. Build Relationships Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with prospects and customers to drive customer satisfaction and retention. Provide personalized solutions, ensuring ongoing support and identifying opportunities for additional sales. Closing Sales Close sales by managing the sales cycle, overcoming objections, and negotiating terms effectively. Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas. Collaborate with the Sales Team Work closely with the sales team, account managers, and marketing to align on sales strategies, messaging, and customer segmentation. Share customer insights, feedback, and market trends to refine approaches and improve sales tactics.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience as an Inside Sales Account Representative supporting a reseller marketplace. Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices. Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform decision-making. Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
