The F&B Inside sales Japan is responsible for (1) creating order plans for repeat business by collecting customer’s purchasing plans from food & beverage customers and distributors. (2) new opportunity finding through a communication with customers (3) creating quotation and customer care with learning product knowledge and understanding customer need, then target to be outside sales in the future (2-3 years from now).
This position reports to the F&B Sales manager Japan and is part of the F&B Japan & Korea located in Tokyo Japan and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Create annual order plans by collecting product demand from domestic customers.Identify new business opportunities through communication with customers.Propose improvement action plans based analysis of order/sales forecast.Prepare quotations and handle internal processing after receiving orders.Support general affairs and outside sales within the F&B Japan division.The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree (majoring in Science/Science Engineering/Engineering)3+ years of working experience (industry experience or sales experience not required)Communication skills, problem-solving skills, eagerness to learnIntermediate level of Excel (ability to use functions)Fluent in Japanese, Basic level in EnglishTravel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role
Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving recordIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

■ポジションの概要
インサイドセールスとして、国内食品・飲料メーカーや代理店から購入予定情報を収集し、販売計画を作成します。顧客とのコミュニケーションと通じて新たな案件も発掘します。また、見積もり対応や顧客からの問い合わせ対応を通じて顧客ニーズを理解しながら製品知識を習得し、将来的にはアウトサイドセールスをご担当します(2~3年後)。フィルター製品やろ過に関する専門的な知識、顧客情報などは、経験豊富なメンバーが手厚くサポートいたします。

日常生活に欠かせない飲料や食品を製造する工程には、様々な「ろ過・分離・精製」があります。食品事業部が提供するフィルターやろ過システムが全世界で数多く使用されており、食品・飲料マーケットに安心・安全で革新的なソリューションを提供することで社会に貢献しています。また、食品事業部で取り扱っている製品はすべて海外工場で製造され、輸入に必要な多くの検査項目をクリアした後にお客様に提供されています。
■ご担当いただく業務
◇国内顧客の製品需要の確認と年間販売計画の作成。
◇顧客とのコミュニケーションを通じて新たな案件発掘。
◇今後の需要情報をベースとした売上分析と今後の課題提案
◇見積書作成と受注後の社内処理業務。
◇食品事業部内の一般総務、アウトサイドセールスのサポート
■求めるスキル・知識・ご経験
・大学卒業以上
・社会人経験3年以上
・インサイドセールス、営業事務、エンジニアで営業にチャレンジしたい方など(業界経験・営業経験不問)
・コミュニケーション能力、問題解決能力、学習意欲
・エクセル中級レベル(関数使用可能レベル)
・自動車運転が可能(アウトサイドセールスになった際に必要)
■語学力
・日本語:流暢レベル以上
・英語:勉強する意欲のある方(ビジネス英語を勉強中の方歓迎)
■あれば尚可/歓迎するスキル・知識・ご経験
・大学・大学院で理系もしくは食品化学を専攻
・食品・フィルター業界での勤務経験
・日常会話レベルの英語力
