Performs routine inspection and testing of product in process and/or finished products using precision measuring tools and equipment. Organizes and prioritizes departmental work flow to ensure effective use of departmental resources.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities: Include the

Performs assigned routine tests on product in process
or finished parts in accordance with the industry, customer and company quality
standards and specifications. These tests include but are not limited to:
Tensile Testing
Shear Testing
Visual Examination
Conductivity
Spindle Retention
Disassembly
Dimensional Inspection
Drivability Testing
Installation Testing
Records the results of tests on
inspection forms and test reports as required.
Assures that inspection
equipment is calibrated and in good working condition.
Assists in root cause analysis
when required
Effectively understands the SPC data collection
system along with other measuring tools and gauges required to ensure that the
manufacturing processes are in control in producing high quality products.
Meets productivity levels in
support of departmental standards, goals and schedules.
Performs good housekeeping and
follows safety regulations.
