About Thales Advanced Development/Studies SystemsThe Delft location is one of the innovation hubs of Thales Netherlands. ADSS acts as the bridge between scientific research and the global core business of Thales. This pertains to both knowledge and technical solutions for military and civilian applications, including decision-making in public order and safety, crisis management, cybersecurity, and decision-support through artificial intelligence. Within ADSS, several key research domains have been identified, namely Human Factors, Artificial Intelligence, Security, and Collaborative Architectures. The Delft team comprises of approximately 25 dedicated researchers/developers, most of whom concentrate on one of these research domains. For optimal results, we work intensively with the TU Delft, University Twente, TNO, and other (inter)national knowledge institutions.
INNOVATIVE FULL-STACK DEVELOPERAbout the RoleThe Advanced Development/Studies Systems department (ADSS) based in Delft, is seeking a full-stack developer capable of translating research concepts into functional (web) components, backend services, and demonstrators. The developer must be able to code efficiently and ensure an effective handover of code for the productization of these new concepts. You will collaborate closely with teams both within and outside ADSS. As a full-stack developer, you serve as a key coordinator, integrating and combining concepts and software components from various disciplines into a cohesive set of front-end and back-end elements that form a proof-of-concept demonstrator. Front-end development will predominantly be web-based, which is of importance not only to ADSS but also to several business units. All activities are approached from an applied research perspective.
