Job Responsibilities: + Setup , start, monitor, and troubleshoot injection molding machines. + Adjust temperature, pressure, and timing for quality molded parts. + Perform routine cleaning and minor repairs to prevent downtim e. + Install, secure, and remove molds for different production runs. + Understand various plastics (thermoplastics, thermosets) and their behavior under heat and pressure. + Conduct quality checks to ensure molded parts meet specifications. + Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.). + Identify and troubleshoot defects (flash, sink marks, short shots). + Follow OSHA regulations and proper hazardous material handlin g. + Lockout/ tagout (LOTO) training and safe high-pressure machinery operation . Basic Hiring Criteria: + Attention to detail to catch defects early. + Strong problem-solving abilities to diagnose and fix production issues. + Teamwork and communication with supervisors, QC, and maintenance teams. + Time management to ensure smooth production flow. Desired Qualifications: + 4-6 years in a manufacturing or plastics production environment. + Training in Scientific Injection Molding (SIM) principles. + RJG Master Molder or similar injection molding processing certification.
