The Ingredient Mixer Attendant- batter line is responsible for ensuring that the proper blend of ingredients is combined to formulate a consistent batter for application to the potato base product.  The person in this position monitors, evaluates and regulates mechanical operations and technical procedures to ensure a proper blend of ingredients is applied to the product. McCain Foods is now accepting applications for an Ingredient Mixer Attendant to work at 12- hour day shift at our Burley, Idaho facility.


Accountabilities: Prior experience in a potato processing facility is a plus.

Operates equipment related to the batter application on the batter fry line.Loads and unloads materials utilizing the forkliftPerforms preventative maintenance, diagnostic checks and routine adjustments on line equipment, follows maintenance schedules and procedures.Collects samples and inspects product for quality requirements.Responsible for cleanup activities on equipment and related areas.Insures sanitation practices and procedures adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.Accurately completes required reports and records

 

Qualifications:

• Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

• Must have ability to effectively present information before groups of customers or employees.

• Must have ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
