**INGENIERO ELECTRICO SENIOR**
Objectives:
Act as a technical lever, responsible of designing the Electrical system required to operate facility projects. Meet or exceed project expectations in a timely manner within the budget limits. Co-ordination with intra / inter disciplinary team and provide the required deliverables as and when requested.
Activities:
• Review and understand client specifications during the proposal phase. Raise clarifications and deviations not in line with Company standards.
• Create or review the electrical design basis and project specifications.
• Provide technical requirements for electrical equipment and preliminary MTO’s for electrical bulk material during proposals. Perform technical bid analysis on quotes received from supply chain.
• Provide inputs to other disciplines during project execution.
• Participate in engineering, client meetings.
• Responsible for delivering electrical engineering documents as per project schedule and in accordance with project budget.
• Perform or review equipment sizing, cable sizing, Lighting, Earthing & Lighting protection calculations cable schedule and interconnection schedules.
• Provide engineering hours estimates during proposals for its discipline. Responsible for tracking engineering hours for its discipline during project execution.
• Able to design and specify the grounding, lighting, protection, Perform or review the Electric Heat tracing system documents and cathodic protection documents.
• Develop the electrical load balance and hazardous area classification schedule and drawings considering other disciplines' inputs.
• Perform or review, comment and approve electrical system studies.
• Develop all electrical equipment datasheets, material selection and technical specifications to be included in the technical requisition during project execution. Develop all electrical detail drawings during project execution.
• Perform technical bid analysis of all electrical equipment and electrical bulk material. Provide feedback to vendors.
• Review, comment and approve all outsourced electrical engineering documents.
• Review, comment and approve all electrical equipment vendors’ documentation.
• Participation and close out action items client or internal HAZOP meeting. Participate in Electrical Equipment FAT and SAFOP.
• Lead and assist junior electrical engineers/designers while developing engineering deliverables.
• Maintain state-of-the-art knowledge in its discipline in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
• Provide support to processing facilities as required by Operations on engineering/technical matters.
• Ability and willingness to travel, as required to fulfill project and business needs.
• Actively support, participate in, and maintain, Interfaces, Prior Experience/Expertise Required
Education Qualification:
• Bachelor's degree in electrical Engineer
Experience
• 8+ years of Industry experience
• Prior work experience in Production Facility, skid-based Engineering, Site Engineering support for construction pre-commissioning and Commissioning activities.
Expertise:
• Facilities Engineering and Skid based packaged engineering with strong subject knowledge background.
• Sound knowledge in Engineering, Installation and commissioning phase of large-scale Oil and Gas facility and skid-based projects
• Experience in electrical power distribution and grounding, lighting and small power systems, lightning protection HV/MV, LV system, MCC, motors, Power units, Power & Diesel Generators,
• VFDs, transformers, Busducts, cables, MTO preparation, and Mechanical packages like GEG, GTG, compressors, pumps, EOT crane and Hoist etc.,
• Knowledge of oil & gas industry
• Familiar with Lifecycle Information Management Systems (Aveva tools), Navisworks and ETAP, DIALUX software's
• Ability to use engineering judgment and experience to enable early designs to progress efficiently.
• Should have sound knowledge in IEEE, IEC, NEC, NEMA, NFPA and other international codes and standard.
