The candidate for the Civil Engineering opening shall be able to analyze, design, coordinate, perform quality control and quantity take-off as part of the Structures team. Must be able to work on multiple tasks and collaborate with team members to meet/exceed client expectations. Must be capable of working with other technical design staff in a multi-discipline team environment and participate in day-to-day design activities. **Responsibilities & Qualifications** **Responsabilidades/Responsibilities:** + proporcionar cálculos y soportes de análisis y diseño estructural + proporcionar detalles de diseño, cómputos métricos y estimación de costos. + desarrollo de procedimientos y especificaciones. + proveer respuestas a consultas técnicas. + desarrollo de conceptos de diseño y reportes. + preparación de entregas técnicas y realizar la coordinación respectiva con las disciplinas involucradas. + revisar planos de construcción para dicha disciplina, planos de taller y /o as-builts. + Proporcionar apoyo/soporte al equipo de trabajo y sus responsables. + Desarrollar modelos BIM de proyectos + Provide calculations from structural analysis and design efforts. + provide design details, quantity, and cost estimates. + development of construction procedures and specifications. + Provide responses to technical inquiries. + development of design concepts and reports. + Prepare technical submittals and coordinate with any other discipline involved. + Review construction drawings, shop drawings and/or as-builts + Provide support to coworkers and team leaders + _Develop project BIM models._ **Requerimientos/Requirements:** + Licenciatura en Ingeniería Civil con Idoneidad de la JTIA en Panamá. + Se valorará positivamente una maestría con especialidad en Ingeniería Estructural, mas no es excluyente. + Entre 3-5 años de experiencia profesional en el campo de la ingeniería estructural. Se valorará participación en al menos 2 proyectos de infraestructura de gran envergadura, mas no es excluyente. + Al menos 2 año de experiencia en el desarrollo digital de proyectos utilizando metodología BIM, incluyendo modelado 3D, trabajo colaborativo en la nube, resolución de conflictos y documentación 2D. + Conocimiento de código AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specification y Guide Specs for LRFD Seismic Bridge Design, ACI 318, ASCE 7, Reglamento Estructural Panameño, IBC, entre otros. + Conocimiento de diseño de puentes y edificaciones. Se valorará conocimiento de diseño sismo-resistente. + Hablar/escribir en idioma español (nativo) e inglés (intermedio) + Organización y excelentes habilidades de comunicación + Manejo de softwares para análisis y diseño estructural como Sofistik, CSI Bridge, SAP2000, XTract, entre otros, es deseable mas no un requisito. + Manejo de herramientas BIM como Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Infraworks, Naviswork, Tekla, Open Bridge Modeler, AllPlan u otros + Undergraduate Degree in Civil Engineering with Professional License from JTIA in Panama + A master’s degree with major in Structural Engineering will be a plus. + 3-5 years of professional experience in the field of structural engineering. Participation in at least 2 major infrastructure projects is a plus. + Knowledge of AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specification y Guide Specs for LRFD Seismic Bridge Design, ACI 318, ASCE 7, Reglamento Estructural Panameño, IBC, among others. + Knowledge of bridge and building design.
