Infrastructure Technology Manager
The Manager Operations of Core Infrastructure Services is responsible for overseeing 24*7 Operations of Core Infrastructure Services across on-premises data centers and multi-cloud environments.
This role ensures the managing daily operations of infrastructure platforms that support Core Infrastructure Services

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day to day operations of lifecycle management of hybrid compute platforms across AWS and on-prem environmentsBe part of daily business stability & Enterprise change approval Board calls and lead Incident/Change and Problem related details to leadershipBe champion in manage all ITSM related metrics and collaborate with internal and external stakeholdersEnsure infrastructure solutions are secure and aligned with business and technology strategies.Oversee enterprise IT operations of Server & storage and backup platforms, including cloud-native storage (e.g., S3, EBS, FSx, Azure NetApp Files) and hybrid solutions.Manage all data protection strategies that meet compliance, recovery, and business continuity requirements.Oversee and manage/prepare support roster for Core Infrastructure ServicesEnsure platform resilience, performance, and observability through proactive monitoring and automation.Oversee backup and recovery processes and ensure data redundancy via Business continuity Processes.

Operational Governance & Service Management

Oversee infrastructure operations through ITSM best practices (incident, change, problem management) across cloud and on-prem environments.Collaborate with stake holders on vendor-delivered services and ensure SLAs are met for infrastructure availability, performance, and support.Act as a point of contact from Operations team for critical infrastructure issues, ensuring rapid resolution and root cause analysis.Collaborate with application, security, and product teams to ensure infrastructure capabilities align with evolving business needs.Manage cross-functional programs that enable cloud adoption, infrastructure optimization, and digital transformation.

Key Qualifications:

This role requires good understanding of Cloud & Compute Services, Storage & Data Protection, and Platform Engineering & Virtualization technologies and related processes, significant understanding in infrastructure engineering for data centers and cloud providers.

Skills & QualificationBachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, MIS, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.12+ years of Experience in managing operations for infrastructure teams excelling in technologies like Linux, Windows, ESX, VMWare, Cisco UCS, Fabric Interconnects along with storage and backup systems like NetApp and CommVault.Experience in operationally managing Cloud Services like EC2, AMI, EBS, FSXn, EBS, EFS, S3, Azure NetApp (ANF), NetApp CVO etc.Developing and implementing policies, procedures, and processes to improve IT operations and increase efficiency and productivityDemonstrated ability to design, deploy, and manage large-scale Infrastructure operations, focusing on reliability, performance, and scalability.Knowledge on cloud technologies and providers, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.Operational ExcellenceSkilled in ITSM practices (e.g., incident, problem, and change management), especially within datacenter and CloudExpertise in implementing automation and monitoring solutions to reduce manual intervention, optimize infrastructure, and improve system reliability.Demonstrated reasoning and troubleshooting skills to resolve technical issues.Skilled in vendor management, and strategic partnerships to maximize infrastructure investments.Familiarity with Security best practices and compliance requirementProven leadership and team management skillsCommunication and CollaborationStrong customer service orientation, with experience in customer relationship management.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to executives and non-technical stakeholders.Proven ability to articulate complex technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, across all organizational levels.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of building rapport, credibility, and trust with stakeholders at all levels.
