The Infrastructure Support Engineer provides 24x7 Tier I/II help desk support for all tenants in the Defense Health Agency (DHA) network. You will work with other Tier I/II engineers in the network security operations center.

**THIS IS AN ONSITE POSITION IN SAN ANTONIO, TX**

You Will:

Triage issues and resolving and/or escalating to the appropriate network teams for remediation Engage with internal and external customers to provide status updates on network issues Troubleshoot issues with a variety of different network devices and protocols Work in a team setting and make recommendations related to troubleshooting, device configuration, and documentation Document projects, support actions, and other administrative artifacts to serve as reference material for related support activities and management staff Ensure incidents and service requests adhere to established service level agreements Support “on-site” 5 days a week 2nd shift (2PM-10:30PM) Joint Base San Antonio, TX. JBSA Fort Sam Houston.

You Have:

U.S. Citizenship A minimum of a Department of Defense (DoD) Active Secret level Security Clearance 5+ years relevant experience in supporting a large network infrastructure A strong working knowledge of Cisco Routers/Switches, Palo Alto Firewalls, and Virtual Private Network devices A good understanding of TCP/IP regarding routing and subnetting Experience with the following Network protocols and services: Routing Protocols (OSPF, BGP) Access Control Lists Layer 2 Switching Spanning Tree Packet Analysis Good written and oral communications skills A can-do team player attitude that can work under pressure and prioritize tasking Willingness and ability to work shifts to cover 24x7 operational environment

Certification:

IAT Level II Security Certification (Security+ CE, CCNP Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, or SCCP) Cisco OS Certification (CCNA or CCNP)
