What You’ll Be Doing

As a Infrastructure Product Owner (Ansible), you will play a key role in driving innovation and operational excellence within the Platform Automation team. Your expertise will help shape the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of enterprise automation capabilities using the Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform. You will provide technical leadership, collaborate with senior management, and ensure compliance with established controls, standards, policies, and procedures. The role provides technical leadership, interpreting complex information and coordinating client, provider, and vendor relationships to meet and manage service expectations, aligned to best practices.

How You’ll Succeed             

Product Backlog – Work closely with business partners to gather complex business requirements, work with Stakeholders to develop a product vision that satisfies their requirements, and define delivery priority taking into consideration strategic alignment, scope and complexity. 

Collaboration – Partner with infrastructure engineers, DevOps teams, lines of business, and technology teams to develop product features and user stories in a collaborative and iterative manner.  

Stakeholder Communication - Ensure the delivery of the right initiatives at the right time by keeping stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the delivery lifecycle. Support the team in managing competing priorities and aligning expectations.

Subject Matter Expertise - Act as a subject matter expert to support end-to-end project implementation. Provide guidance to diverse teams of technology and project professionals, fostering a collaborative environment to resolve organizational, operational, and process challenges.

Who You Are

You can demonstrate 5+ years of experience with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (Ansible Tower/AAP2).Deep understanding of OpenShift deployment templates, configuring CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, and building containers with Podman. Familiarity with container security, scanning, hardening, and SELinux. Experience with monitoring tools like OpenShift Monitoring, Splunk, and Dynatrace. Knowledge of other automation tools such as Terraform and Kubernetes is an asset.

You are an Excellent Communicator. You have solid written and oral communication skills and an ability to produce a variety of business documents that demonstrate command of language, clarity of thought and orderliness of presentation as well as express oneself and communicate with others verbally; recognizing that verbal communication is more than just language - it includes tone, style and structure.

You have ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups or activities. Effective judgment in prioritizing and time allocation.

You have decision making and critical thinking skill. You have knowledge of tools and techniques for effective use of a broad range of factors, assumptions, frameworks and perspectives when solving problems.

You understand that success is in the details. You notice things that others don't. Your critical thinking skills help to inform your decision making.
