PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE:
We are seeking a technically skilled and proactive Infrastructure Operations Engineer to support and enhance our data, telecom, office, and voice infrastructure. This role is essential to ensuring reliable service delivery, supporting key technical projects, and maintaining high standards in vendor and system management. This role requires a strong technical background, exceptional leadership abilities, a proven track record of managing complex projects from inception to completion.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Data and Telecom Services Support
Manage vendors and infrastructure expense management for all corporate cost centersEnsure compliance with IT controlsCoordinate issue resolution and risk managementOffice and Branch Technology Services
Leading change and project management for SNOW move, adds and change service requests, facilitate 3rd party and/or Network Engineering response to incidents, coordinate new infrastructure implementation and delivery of WAN, Meraki, Cisco equipment working with Network and other Engineers within the Voice and Data Infrastructure team. Support Network Access Protection (NAP), Meraki and other compliance policies related to physical infrastructure.Mobile and UCaaS Voice Services
Support users of Documo/mFax, RingCentral, Five9, Microsoft Teams, ZoomAdminister RingCentral for 2000+ users (Licenses, upgrades, alerts, incidents)Enforce the Corporate mobile device policy and supporting end usersKey Project Planning & Support:
Contribute to key technical projectsManaging on-site network inventory and coordinating logistical moves to guide physical logistics from conception to completion. Ensure any internal or vendor resources are available, tracked, and transported efficiently to support various network and technology project timeline and goalsDevelop plans to meet departmental goalsPROBLEM SOLVING & DECISION MAKING:
Must be analytical, well-organized, and self-directed. Makes recommendations to manager on decisions of complex, multifaceted nature. Independently drives and coordinates solutions to complex mattersREQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field8+ years in technology management, including 5+ years in a leadership or senior technical roleStrong technical background with experience in complex project supportExcellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExperience in vendor relations and contract managementEducation and Experience
Experience in contract management, vendor relations, or related roles.
Working Conditions – This hybrid role requires three days on-site at the Wakefield, MA Technology Regional Headquarters and offers two remote workdays per week. A quiet and focused workspace is recommended. Frequent travel to office sites and data centers may be required.
