Oracle is undergoing a remarkable change and becoming a cloud-centric business and is consolidating the dedicated EMEA Cloud Labs team within the Technology Engineering Organization to target and grow the ISV (Independent Software Vendor) Enterprise Market. The EMEA Cloud Labs Engineers are a pivotal technical role supporting Oracle IaaS & PaaS ISV Solutions and Oracle SaaS Integration.
The EMEA Cloud Labs Consultant’s key function would require Oracle Cloud Infrastructure & Platform technical expertise employed as a subject matter resource with the task of working closely with the EMEA Account Cloud Engineers to ensure that the Oracle products being offered can be tailored to meet ISVs needs.
The Mission
Your mission is to work with Oracle’s largest ISV partners on migration strategies to move their IP to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and to develop their next-generation SaaS offerings on the OCI. You will work with internal Oracle Cloud offering teams, including Product Management and Development, to craft highly scalable, flexible, and resilient production cloud architectures that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of OCI services.

We are looking to recruit a colleague to be part of the Infrastructure team with experience in Cloud Infrastructure. The team is part of the Cloud Labs and is mainly responsible for migration of new ISV customers from on premise / other clouds to OCI. Oracle Cloud expertise or other Cloud experience is required. Will act as an infrastructure engineer and deliver functional and technical solutions for the migration projects to meet customer requests.Required Skills/Experience

Requirements
Strong experience in infrastructure migration, datacenter management or cloud adoption Strong experience with Linux and/or Windows OS administration and configuration Strong experience with VMware/KVM Deep knowledge of infrastructure components such as compute, storage, networking, operating systems, patching etc. Proficiency in lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and hybrid migration strategies Strong experience with logging and analytics services Ability to troubleshoot issues across network, OS, and application layers Experience estimating cloud resource usage and optimizing post-migration costs Ability to assess legacy workloads and refactor for cloud-native or cloud-optimized deployment Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills Capability to select the appropriate OCI services based on workload and performance requirements Strong customer-facing experience and ability to lead migration workshops and technical sessions Familiar with tools and methodologies for cloud migration planning, discovery, and execution

Strong understanding of on-premises to Cloud migration patterns and dependencies OCI certifications or equivalent (e.g., OCI Architect Professional, OCI Cloud Infrastructure Professional) Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet) Experience with CI/CD, automation, and DevOps practices during infrastructure transformation Exposure to monitoring and observability tools for performance tuning and post-migration validation (e.g., OCI Monitoring, Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, Dynatrace, Nagios) Understanding of security and compliance aspects of infrastructure migration Familiarity with Agile and DevOps-based project execution frameworks
