Kforce has a client that is seeking an Infrastructure Lab Technician onsite in Houston, TX. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm CST (occasional weekends). Overview: We are seeking a hands-on Infrastructure Lab Technician to support prototype server setup, firmware updates, and inventory management in a lab environment. This role is critical to ensuring systems are accessible and ready for performance benchmarking and engineering validation. Key Responsibilities: * Receive and assemble incoming hardware and prototypes * Update firmware and configure systems for network access * Support performance engineering requests (e.g., memory/OS changes) * Troubleshoot hardware and firmware issues * Maintain accurate inventory and manage equipment logistics * Set up lab infrastructure including racks, PDUs, switches, and cabling * Configure iLO settings and network accounts
