Position Overview
As a Performance Analytics Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining Performance Analytics solutions within the ServiceNow platform. You will play a crucial role in enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization by transforming raw data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of dedicated experience working with ServiceNow Performance Analytics and possess a strong understanding of the platform's capabilities. Experience with Platform Analytics is highly desirable, and familiarity with UI Builder would be a significant advantage.
Responsibilities
The ServiceNow Performance Analytics Developer’s day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Designing and developing Performance Analytics indicators, breakdowns, and dashboards to meet business requirements
• Configuring and maintaining data collectors, jobs, and schedules to ensure accurate and timely data collection.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and translate them into effective Performance Analytics solutions.
• Developing custom scripts and configurations within Performance Analytics to enhance functionality and reporting capabilities.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Performance Analytics data and reporting.
• Maintaining comprehensive documentation for all Performance Analytics solutions.
• Staying up to date with the latest ServiceNow features and best practices, particularly in Performance Analytics and related areas.
• Participating in the planning and implementation of ServiceNow upgrades and enhancements related to Performance Analytics.
• Highly Desirable: Design, develop, and implement solutions using ServiceNow Platform Analytics to gain insights into platform performance and usage.
• Bonus: Utilize ServiceNow UI Builder to create intuitive and user-friendly dashboards and visualizations.
• Collaborating with other ServiceNow developers and administrators to ensure seamless integration of Performance Analytics solutions with other platform modules.
• Contributing to the development of best practices and standards for ServiceNow Performance Analytics.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist Performance Analytics.
• Experience with ServiceNow Platform Analytics, including configuration and analysis.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow UI Builder and experience creating custom user interfaces.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes.
Required Experience & Education:
• 11 -13 years of experience required
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Performance Analytics Developer.
• Proven ability to design, develop, and implement Performance Analytics solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow data model and reporting capabilities.
• Experience with configuring and troubleshooting Performance Analytics data collectors, indicators, breakdowns, and dashboards.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and other scripting languages relevant to ServiceNow.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Location & Hours of Work:
Full-time position, extended/ Split shift (1 PM – 10 PM IST / 3:30 AM - 12:30 PM EST) working 40 hours per week. Expected overlap with US hours as appropriate. Primarily based in the Innovation Hub in Hyderabad, India, with flexibility to work remotely as required.Equal Opportunity Statement
