Your role:
You will be accountable for planning and execution of external operational costs for the Global Infrastructure footprint in the EMEA regionManage the full lifecycle of “Plan->Procure->Pay” across all IT-Infra subsidiaries & cost centers in the regionMaintain the “Cost Book”, which is the tool that is used to capture financial forecasts and Purchase Orders for external costs. Ensure that the Cost Book accurately reflects the current financial forecast.Ensure that Purchase Orders are initiated, approved, and executed in accordance with associated service renewal dates.Provide input for quarterly financial forecast updates, in accordance with Controlling deadlines Work closely with Controlling and Procurement colleagues to analyze and explain deviations between forecasted spend and actual spend.Working closely with IT technical colleagues to take actions needed to resolve cost variances.Drive the implementation of improvements to processes & tools related to financial forecasting, PR / PO processing, and cost analysis across the “Plan-> Procure->Pay” landscape.
Who you are:
Strong financial background with 4-6 years of experince. Experience with financial forecasting, cost management, and cost variance analysis in a complex multi-sector, multi-ERP, multi-legal entity environmentExperience with procurement processes and controlsExperience managing financial aspects of infrastructure supplier contracts / agreementsExperience with cross-functional process improvement initiativesAbility to executeStrong financial planning / financial forecasting knowledgeExcellent communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills. Ability to drive consensus / set mutually agreeable goalsGeneral understanding of industry standard IT infrastructure platforms, terminology, and leading providers, including Network, Telecommunications, Cloud, Datacenter, Server & StorageAbility to break complex problems into manageable tasksStrong analytical skills and ability to think strategicallyExcellent organizational and time management skillsEnglish language proficient
