Context
As an Infrastructure Architect, you will be part of the Obsolescence Team, which is composed Experts and Architects based in France and Romania
You will lead architecture studies across various obsolescence-related initiatives. These include:
Decommissioning of Legacy Infrastructure
Draft high-level design (HLD) documents.Validate processes with the TAS Design Authority.Coordinate infrastructure decommissioning activities.Renewal of Network Infrastructure
Define Statements of Work (SOW) and technical requirements.Participate in RFP processes and evaluate vendor proposals.Validate technical designs with the TAS Design Authority.Ensure compliance with cybersecurity requirements in coordination with the TAS CISO.Assessment of New Work Packages
Estimate technical workload and project timelines.Define the bill of materials (BoM) for new hardware (e.g., servers, ESX, switches).Design the overall change approach.Contribute to the creation of the 2026 roadmap, balancing obsolescence priorities and budget constraints.Technical Support & Decision-Making
Provide technical guidance and act as a decision-maker for solution and design choices.Support technical experts during implementation phases.Core Responsibilities:
Design technical solutionsEnsure that architecture aligns with security, performance, and scalability requirements.Collaborate closely with all the experts from the “obsolescence” team for project implementation.Maintain and update project documentation (HLD and/or LLD)Required Skills:
Strong expertise in solution architecture (infrastructure, Network, databases).Examples of technologies within the obsolescence project:Switches catalyst and NexusESX with SAN & VSAN storageMSA bayApplication hosted on Windows and Linux environmentDatabases (Oracles, MySQL ...)Deep understanding of security, high availability, and scalability best practices.
Experience:
