The candidate must have experience with the
development, implementation, and maintenance of
Windows and Linux Servers/Clients, PC Desktops,
network devices and supported applications.
Successful Candidates will have a thorough
understanding of the US Government system
accreditation process under Risk Management
Framework (RMF). This may include one or more of
the following guidance directives: Intelligence
Community Directive 503 (ICD-503), Committee on
National Security Systems Instruction (CNSSI) 1253, Defense Security Service Assessment and
Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM), and the
National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM Chapter 8). The candidate will be responsible for systems security, testing and system accreditation activities for multiple program areas. The candidate will apply information technology security
principles and configure security settings, complete
weekly system audit, apply security patches and
conduct media reviews. Assist in the development and implementation of government approved information security procedures and plans for the operation of
multiple networked and standalone classified
computers, and coordinate government agency
approvals. Consult on the design, development,
integration, and analysis of classified computing
systems with the programs and information systems security manager (ISSM). Assist with self-inspection
reviews. Assist in conducting comprehensive
investigation of computer security incidents,
coordinating with other organizations for expertise.
Must be a self-driven and results oriented individual
capable of multiple priorities under deadlines. Must
demonstrate effective interpersonal skill to work with
customers, employees and leaders at all levels within
and outside of the organization. Must have the ability
to support off-hour operations requirements as
needed and must be able to travel for program missions.
Basic Qualifications:
-Must have and maintain DoD 8570 IAT Level II
certification.
-Active Top Secret clearance
-Experience implementing the NIST SP800-53 Security
Controls
-Experience performing the continuous monitoring of
system security controls
-Possess the ability to work with multiple customers,
and must be able to build and maintain effective team
and customer relationships
-Possess strong written and verbal communications,
interpersonal relations, and organizational,
troubleshooting skills.
Desired Skills:
-Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a
related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related
Master’s degree.
-Previous experience as an Information System
Security Officer or Information System Security
Manager
-Experience with SPLUNK
-Experience with DoD Security Directives, Policies,
Publications and Regulations.
-Excellent communications skills
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years
