Job Overview

Citi’s Chief Information Security Office (CISO) is made up of deeply dedicated and talented colleagues who work together to ensure the safety of Citi’s and our clients’ assets and information. We manage information security as an end-to-end program – one with a clear mandate and accountability. Our mission is to continually execute and enhance a global security program that is fully anchored to modern control and security frameworks, fully aligned with the technology of the firm, threat-focused and data-driven, and deeply integrated across all Citi businesses globally.


The Infrastructure Information Security Review Process (I-ISRP) Team sits in CISO and is responsible for executing the information security (IS) assessments of infrastructure products. This will ensure appropriate risk treatment while reducing the number of vulnerabilities in Citi’s production environment, in compliance with Citi, legal, regulatory and other applicable policies, standards and technical requirements.

The Information Security Technology Specialist is responsible for leading efforts to prevent, monitor and respond to information/data breaches and cyber-attacks. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the execution of Information Security directives and activities in alignment with Citi's data security policy.

Responsibilities:

Perform the information security review of infrastructure products and verify their compliance to the Citi Information Security StandardsEvaluate the security and compliance of the products by reviewing documentation and by hands-on testing. Document any findings, security breaches and non-compliant itemsPartner with stakeholders on risk assessment and remediation of non-compliant itemsExecute strict quality control measures into all processes to consistently meet standardsSupport the organization through internal and external audits of the various processes and procedures in useGenerate metrics and ensure productivity to guarantee Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and client expectations are metEnsure essential procedures are followed, define operating standards and processes and develop procedures and process control manualsPerform information security awareness and training activitiesSuggest improvement to process efficienciesProvide informal guidance or on-the-job-training to new team members


Qualifications:

At least 2 years of relevant experience1 certification or ability to earn within 12 months of joining preferredExperience with Unix-based systemsKnowledge of computer networking conceptsFamiliarity with cloud-based technologiesConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communicationProven analytical skillsAbility to work and make decisions independentlyFluent in English


Education:

Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
