About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing information security initiatives, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring timely remediation of vulnerabilities and identified non-compliance to information security standards. This role includes Monitoring and reporting Key information security indicator performance, concerns areas to management, assisting in information security awareness programs and rolling out new information security initiatives in the BUs.

Key Responsibilities:

Vulnerability and compliance Management

Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely identification, assessment, and remediation of vulnerabilities and non-compliance identified .Track the status of vulnerabilities, identified non-compliances compliance against security standards.Escalate unresolved security issues to management promptly and propose risk mitigation solutions.

Information Security new initiation Coordination:

 Plan and execute security initiatives aligned with organizational goals, ensuring smooth rollout within the business unit. Support the integration of security controls into business processes and IT systems to improve security posture.

Reporting and Escalation:

Generate periodic reports on the status of security initiatives, vulnerability assessments, and risk mitigation efforts.Provide detailed insights and escalate critical security incidents and risks to management and relevant stakeholders.Contribute to the development and improvement of security metrics and dashboards to inform decision-making.

Security Awareness and Training

Develop information security awareness materials, including presentations, guides, and infographics, tailored to different employee levels.Conduct engaging security awareness sessions across the business unitEvaluate the effectiveness of awareness programs through surveys, assessments, and ongoing feedback from participants.

Incident Coordination and Response:

Assist in coordinating the response to security incidents, including communication with key stakeholders and participation in post-incident reviews.Ensure proper documentation of incidents and contribute to refining response strategies based on lessons learned.

  

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.3-5 years of experience in information security, IT risk management, or a related role.Strong knowledge of vulnerability management, security frameworks, data analytics, Excel and MS office tools.Excellent coordination, communication, and reporting skills.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
