About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Information Security Manager to join our Security Content Development (SCD) team as the manager of the Security Information and Event Management content solution.  The manager will be responsible for leading an outstanding team of 10+ engineers and partnering with other stakeholders on delivery of Splunk Enterprise Security solution.

The Security Content Development (SCD) Team was created to provide visibility into Wells Fargo cyber-security-related events of interest using data, security tool signatures, advanced correlation, visualization, and alerting for the benefit of the Cyber Threat Fusion Center. 

In this role, you will:

Manage and develop a team of individual contributors with low to moderate complexity and riskProvide support and drive strategic initiatives for the businessMaintain an advanced awareness of bank security policies and government regulations pertaining to information securityIdentify security risks and solutions for networks and virtual private network applications, security tools, public key infrastructures, authentication and directory services, and access management servicesAddress vulnerability detection, threat data, network intrusion, development, and implementation of vulnerability mitigation strategiesFormulate and implement information security solutions and controlsMake decisions and resolve issues regarding changes to information security policy, standards, and procedures as needed for systems, applications, and toolsRecommend compliance and risk management requirements for supported area and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiativesLead complex projects and initiatives impacting one or more business linesCollaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managersLead team to achieve objectivesManage allocation of people and financial resources for Information Security AnalysisMentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent

Required Qualifications, US:

4+ years of Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education2+ years of Leadership experience2+ years of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solution experience

Demonstrated ability to engage and partner with technical, subject matter experts, engineers, and business unit stakeholders to drive solutions and build consensus for risk and controlsDemonstrated experience with Splunk Enterprise Security solution deliveryDemonstrated experience leading LEAN Agile/Scrum frameworksDemonstrated experience leading and managing a development team for detection and content engineeringCISSP or related Cloud Security certifications

Job Expectations:

Travel up to 20% domesticallyAbility to work onsite in the office in a hybrid model.This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship
