QUALIFICATIONS

Formation

Diplôme de baccalauréat en sciences infirmières (B. Sc. inf.) ou l’équivalent, obtenu dans le cadre d'un programme de formation en soins infirmiers accrédité;

Inscription actuelle et en règle auprès de l’organisme provincial de réglementation des soins infirmiers;

Certification en cours de validité en soins immédiats en réanimation (SIR);

Une certification en cours de validité en soins avancés en réanimation cardiovasculaire (SARC) est requise pour le poste en clinique;

Avoir suivi un cours de chimiothérapie ou de biothérapie est un atout.

** Si le (la) candidat(e) retenu(e) ne possède pas les qualifications requises, il (elle) devra obtenir la certification nécessaire pour son lieu de travail.  La formation pour la certification devra être effectuée pendant le temps libre du (de la) candidat(e) retenu(e). **

Expérience

 Expérience en soins de courte durée et/ou en administration de produits pharmaceutiques spécialisés;

Une expérience en soins à domicile est un atout;

Une expérience en soins intensifs (par exemple, au sein d'un service des urgences ou d'une unité de soins intensifs), en clinique de perfusion ou en oncologie est préférable;

Compétences exceptionnelles en matière de mise en place d'une perfusion intraveineuse périphérique;

Une expérience avec des cathéters centraux (DAVC, CCIP, etc.) est un atout.

Compétences exceptionnelles en matière d'évaluation des patient(e)s;

Excellentes compétences en communication;

Capable de gérer les relations en offrant un service à la clientèle exceptionnel;

Compétences interpersonnelles exceptionnelles et capacité à gérer des situations difficiles;

Capable de travailler de manière autonome et au sein d’une équipe interdisciplinaire;

Capable d’exécuter et de hiérarchiser plusieurs fonctions et tâches;

Capable de lire et d’interpréter des instructions techniques liées aux soins des patient(e)s;

Capable de transcrire les ordonnances du (de la) médecin;

Permis de conduire valide.

QUALIFICATIONS 
Education 
• Graduated from an accredited nursing education program with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or equivalent. 
• Current registration and in good standing with provincial nursing regulatory body. 
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification. 
• Current Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required for clinic role. 
• Chemotherapy – Biotherapy course completion is an asset. ** If the required qualifications are not possessed by the successful candidate; the candidate will be required to obtain certification necessary for the location of their work. Training for the certification will be completed on the successful candidates own time. ** 


Experience 
• Experience in acute care and/or with administering specialty pharmaceuticals. 
• Experience with home care is an asset. 
• Critical care (e.g., ER or ICU), infusion clinic, or oncology experience is preferred. 
• Exceptional peripheral IV initiation skills. • Experience with central lines (IVAD, PICC, etc.) is an asset.

• Valid drivers license.
