We are committed to excellence in early childhood education and are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as an Infant Teacher.
Position Overview: As an Infant Teacher at The Learning Experience, you will play a vital role in the care and education of our youngest learners. You will work with infants aged 6 weeks to 12 months, providing a safe, loving, and enriching environment that promotes their physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of infant development, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
Key Responsibilities:
Create a warm and nurturing environment where infants feel safe, loved, and secure. Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote learning and development. Provide responsive and individualized care to meet the unique needs of each infant. Foster positive relationships with infants, families, and colleagues through effective communication and collaboration. Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration. Observe and document children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones. Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and center policies related to health, safety, and sanitation.
Qualifications:
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; CDA, Associate's or bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, or related field preferred. At least one year of experience working with infants in a childcare setting. Knowledge of infant development and best practices in early childhood education. Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills. Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Ability to pass background checks required by state regulations.
