The target is to support the long-term talent pipeline development for our new Semiconductor Fab in Roseville, CA. The intern will work collaboratively with both the Director of Presales and Public Funding and the Workforce Development Manager in Roseville. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to shaping long-term academic-industry engagement strategies in a high-impact policy environment. **Key Responsibilities:** + Research on existing university-industry collaboration models, especially in the semiconductor manufacturing sector. + Building on mapped out potential university partners (based on research capabilities, geographic relevance, and strategic alignment), identify opportunities for industry-academic engagement and partnering. + Develop a concept paper outlining collaboration models, partnership structures, Key Performance Indicators, and implementation pathways. + Support stakeholder interviews and/or workshops with internal and external experts. + Prepare presentations and briefing materials for senior leadership + Mentorship from experienced professionals. + Exposure to high-level strategic planning and public-private partnership development. **Qualifications** **Required Qualifications:** + Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree + Minimum GPA of 3.0 + Strong research and analytical skills; relationship building (interpersonal skills), and the ability to condense and synthesize complex information. + Good written and verbal communication skills. + Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. + Domestic travel required (10-20%) + Valid drivers license **Preferred Qualifications:** + Pursuing a degree in in Chemical, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or Material Science or a related field. + Interest in semiconductor manufacturing **Additional Information** **_Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability / veterans_** ** ** _*Bosch adheres to Federal, State, and Local laws regarding drug-testing.
