Cirium’s datasets are constantly updated and improved. Aviation Fleet Researchers (MRO) focus on researching and inputting key aircraft and relationship data to maintain Cirium's leading aircraft fleet databases.
The main goal of Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) is to identify maintenance providers, their capabilities, their relationships with airlines, and where they conduct maintenance. This ensures we provide accurate and up-to-date information for analysis in our products and for our clients.

You will need to pay close attention to detail and work both collaboratively and independently on various data tasks. These tasks include document processing, ETL, quality checks, connecting different data points, and combining data with existing datasets to provide top-quality data for our clients.

Using primary and secondary data sources is crucial for corroborating signals we receive. Understanding the bigger picture of our data and how clients use it is important, as is working towards commercial objectives alongside personal ones. Training will be provided to support this.
We are adopting new technologies and improving our workflows to be as efficient as possible, while also exploring new insights for internal and external use. Full training will be given on our proprietary data tools, and you will work in a small team researching and curating MRO data.

Responsibilities

Desktop research for MRO, airline and company profile informationUtilise automated and manual processes to improve data coverage, accuracy, and reduce latency.Identify new data sources and establish relationships between data.Verify and corroborate data to ensure confidence in our processes and models.Evaluate and refine new data, processes, or workflows, and identify alternatives if needed.Support peers, colleagues, and clients by providing the best data and explanations.Continuously improve knowledge of the dataset and tools with your peers.Provide expert input on research, MRO insights, and how data is presented in products.Assist Sales and Commercial teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree holderProficient with MS Office (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and CMS.Understanding of data is a plus.Preferably familiar with aviation, especially MRO.Strong geographical knowledge.Familiar with primary and secondary research, ensuring compliance and ethics.Able to handle and process large volumes of data accurately and quickly.Capable of meeting deadlines.Able to work independently and collaboratively.Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.Inquisitive nature.Able to integrate multiple data sources.Confident in decision-making and justification.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Fluent in English (written and spoken).
