Job Responsibilities:

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

SKILL (Ability to do the job)

- Willingness to work extended or flexible hours as required to meet production demands

- Strong mechanical background;

- Basic equipment knowledge;

- Maintenance skills

- Ability to work in stressful situations

- Must be willing to work in various locations within and outside the facility

 - Knowledge of hydraulics

 - Knowledge of pneumatics

 - Knowledge of basic plumbing

 - Knowledge of industrial electricity

- MUST be computer proficient and comfortable using Microsoft Office and computer integrated equipment.

 - MUST demonstrate mechanical ability, strong math skills, English reading and writing skills and disciplined precision in recording sampling and process data.

 - MUST have a current, valid Driver’s License.

 - MUST be able to lift and carry 30 pound bags.

 - MUST be able to properly handle chemicals per MSDS sheets.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

May be required to lift up to 75lbs. occasionally, 80% walking or standing, 15% computer work, 5% kneeling or crouching

EQUIPMENT / TOOLS USED:

Hand tools, Power tools, Forklift, Extending boom and scissor type personnel lifts, Computer, Pallet Jack

KNOWLEDGE

EDUCATION:  High School Diploma or GED required;

TECHNICAL TRAINING: 

Understanding of related state and federal regulationsExperience treating oily and metals waste water from casting and metals washing processesExperience in industrial waste water pretreatment facilities as lead operator or significant relevant experience is required Able to read, understand and interpret technical chemical analysis and lab test resultsAbility to perform chemical calculations to processesExperience with plant start up is preferredKamtek Forklift Certification Required

OTHER:  Computers, Experience with basic Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel

WORK EXPERIENCE

WHAT TYPES?  Experience as an Industrial Waste Water Operator.
