PDS Tech Commercial, in partnership with a leading manufacturing customer, is hiring a Sewer to join their dynamic production team in Dayton, OH. Your precision and attention to detail will directly contribute to the quality of products that power real-world impact.

Location: Dayton, OH | Schedule: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Pay Rate: $17.00/hour

As a Sewer, you’ll play a hands-on role in crafting high-quality products by operating industrial sewing machines, inspecting materials, and ensuring every stitch meets rigorous standards. Your work will help keep production lines running smoothly and efficiently.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Read and interpret work orders to ensure task accuracy and production alignment.

Operate sewing equipment such as single-needle, multi-needle sergers, and binding machines.

Select and prep materials like fasteners, threads, and fabrics to match job specs.

Inspect materials and finished goods to ensure quality and consistency.

Perform basic machine maintenance like cleaning and replacing needles.

Contribute to a safe and efficient production floor by supporting other duties as needed.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Required:

Ability to read and interpret safety and work documentation.

Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

Comfortable sitting for long periods and lifting up to 30 lbs.

Preferred:

Previous experience operating sewing machines or working in a manufacturing environment.

Familiarity with industrial equipment and production processes.

Pay Details: $17.00 per hour
