These are just a few of the benefits you can expect from working with Savage: + Pay starts at $23 an hour + We provide Uniforms and PPE (laundering included) + $150/year Steel Toe Boot Allowance + Opportunities for Growth + Paid Holidays & Paid Time Off (PTO) + Excellent Benefits including medical, dental, vision, profit sharing and 401 (k) with match What you will be doing: + Spotting cars on the correct track; moving empty cars and building the outbound train + Classification of inbound train + Interaction with Class One railroad + Visually inspect rail cars and perform air brake inspections + Cross-train and assist in the different functions performed at the facility + Operate a locomotive - we provide training and certification Requirements of a successful Rail Switchman: + Minimum of two years of switching experience + Work is performed within a refinery setting and requires all hires to pass a criminal background check and drug screening + Attend and pass all training associated with job-related coursework.
