**Experienced Industrial Painter**
Seeking a skilled and certified Industrial Painter with proven experience in surface preparation, coating applications, and finishing for heavy industrial, manufacturing, or structural environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of painting systems, coating types, and industry-standard safety practices, as well as the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.

**Your Challenge**
+ Prepare surfaces for painting (e.g., sandblasting, degreasing, masking).
+ Apply industrial coatings such as epoxies, urethanes, and zinc-rich primers using spray guns (airless or conventional), brushes, or rollers.
+ Mix and match paint to desired color and consistency according to manufacturer specifications.
+ Inspect finished surfaces for quality and adherence to job specifications.
+ Maintain all painting equipment and ensure work area cleanliness.
+ Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine painting specifications.
+ Follow proper safety protocols including wearing safety (PPE) gear like a respirator hood and body suit for prolonged periods of time.
+ Will be required to work in confined space, follow fall protection requirements, and handle hazardous materials.
+ Document work completed and materials used as required by project managers or compliance protocols.
+ Work at heights, including bending & reaching and in confined spaces, as necessary for job assignments.
**What You Bring**
+ Minimum 3–5 years of industrial painting experience in a manufacturing, construction, or marine/shipyard environment.
+ Strong knowledge of surface preparation and industrial coatings application techniques.
+ Familiarity with blast booths, paint booths, and mobile rig setups.
+ Respirator Fit Test and pre-employment medical exam required
+ Ability to operate painting tools and equipment safely and effectively.
+ High School diploma or GED required.
**Certifications:**
+ OSHA 10 or 30 Certification (preferred)
+ NACE Coating Inspector Certification (preferred or willingness to obtain)
+ SSPC/NACE Coating Application Specialist (CAS) Certification (preferred)
**Physical Requirements:**
+ Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.
+ Comfortable working at heights, in various temperature conditions, and in physically demanding environments.
+ Tolerance for working with chemicals, solvents, and in areas with limited ventilation (PPE provided).
+ Respirator Fit Test and pre-employment medical exam required
**Preferred:**
+ Experience with corrosion protection in structural steel, tanks, pipelines, or marine structures.
+ Familiarity with quality assurance documentation, coating reports and testing documentation.
