As we continue our journey to establish Windsor Operations globally as a Technical Centre of Excellence, we are seeking qualified applicants for opportunities within our skilled trade workforce as an Industrial Millwright Mechanic (IMM).
Basic Qualifications
Has satisfactorily completed an apprenticeship training course in the trade concerned and has obtained a Certificate of Apprenticeship (C of A) and Certificate of Qualifications (C of Q) (433A).Preferred Qualifications
“Red Seal” certification is an asset.Three (3) years working experience as an IMM within a high-speed, flexible manufacturing environment with prior completion of a recognized Apprenticeship Program under the Province of Ontario or equivalent.Prior working experience with Computerized Numerically Controlled (CNC) machines with knowledge and applied experience in machine tool component position geometry and process integration.Working knowledge and experience with precision bearings, setup gauging tools, tool mounting systems, and lubricant systems.Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment failures.Deep understanding along with a working knowledge and experience of automation machinery specifications (proficient with machining, repairing, and/or rebuilding working details and machine components using lathes, mills, grinders, etc.)Proficiency in reading and comprehension of technical drawings and schematics for determination of machining and assembly equipment and tooling parameters.Comprehensive working knowledge in the use of measuring instruments to verify dimensional characteristics.Preferable candidates should be capable of effectively performing their duties with minimal Supervision and be capable of working independently.
