MAU is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Reliability Technician for Sonoco in Conyers, GA. As an Industrial Maintenance Reliability Technician, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. This is a direct-hire opportunity.
Benefits Package Medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependents, including FSA and HSA options 401(k) retirement plan with company match Wellbeing resources, including an Employee Assistance Program Paid time off and holidays Company-paid and voluntary employee-paid insurance plans (life, personal accident, and disability) Tuition reimbursement Shift Information Second Shift | 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM Required Education and Experience Proven experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and piping systems Strong understanding of lubrication principles and equipment function Preferred Education and Experience Ability to promote and lead change within a maintenance environment Demonstrated ability to develop and modify preventive maintenance programs (PMs) General Requirements Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Strong troubleshooting and communication skills Proactive mindset for maintenance and reliability Ability to read and interpret mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics Competency using a computer and documenting technical data Essential Functions Follow safety procedures and lead by example in identifying and mitigating safety risks Repair and maintain operational equipment and facilities Supervise and verify correct fixes for equipment issues Maintain inventories of tools, supplies, and repair parts Perform and document Preventive/Predictive maintenance procedures Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues with corrective action plans Communicate effectively with operations to resolve degraded conditions Participate in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) maintenance programs Maintain detailed records to support equipment history and analysis Uphold strong housekeeping standards Identify and utilize the correct tools; avoid use of damaged tools Maintain, troubleshoot, and install mechanical systems per OEM specifications Improve equipment reliability and identify inspection/lubrication improvements Understand and apply knowledge of sub-component reliability Fabricate and install piping, pneumatic, and mechanical systems Physical Demands Ability to perform physical tasks associated with equipment maintenance and repair Use of hand and power tools, standing, climbing, and working in industrial settings
