What You’ll Work On

Proficiency in the safe installation, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems ranging from 5VDC up to 480VAC.

Skills in reading manuals and electrical prints, using tools such as multimeters, meggers, and amp clamps, and employing common hand tools for troubleshooting.

Proficiency in using Windows operating systems and computer applications such as spreadsheets, databases, and word processing software. Ability to configure Ethernet settings, install and remove software, and use Remote Desktop connections.

Understanding of industrial network communication fundamentals, including both wired and wireless Ethernet, DeviceNet, and Field Bus.

Familiarity with pneumatic concepts and their applications.

Knowledge of control valves, such as those from Fisher and Spirax.

Basic understanding of PLC operations, including: Managing inputs and outputs from field devices to PLCs, with types such as digital (24VDC/120VAC) and analog (0-1 OV/4-20mA).

Using Rockwell PLC software (RSLinx, RSLogix, Studi05000, RSNetworx) for troubleshooting machines or systems.

Ability to install and troubleshoot motors, including wiring, voltage adjustments, and verifying rotation.

Basic knowledge of VFD (Variable Frequency Drives) functions, including installation and parameter modification.

Understanding system processes and how devices interact within these systems.

Ability to research and understand documentation related to specific devices and equipment, including installation instructions, electrical diagrams, and parts manuals.

Capability to understand assembly drawings, processing documents, equipment schematics, and other related documentation.

Adaptability to a diverse range of technologies used throughout the facility.

Performing preventive maintenance tasks as required.

You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.

Please note: This is a 12-hour Night shift position from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM and allows you to have every other weekend off.

Week 1: Mon - OFF, Tues - OFF, Wed - 12 hours, Thurs - 12 hours, Fri - OFF, Sat - OFF, Sun - OFF

Week 2: Mon - 12 hours, Tues - 12 hours, Wed - OFF, Thurs - OFF, Fri - 12 hours, Sat - 12 hours, Sun - 12 hours

Week 3: Mon - OFF, Tues - OFF, Wed - 12 hours, Thurs - 12 hours, Fri - OFF, Sat - OFF, Sun – OFF

Week 4 :Mon - 12 hours, Tues - 12 hours, Wed - OFF, Thurs - OFF, Fri - 12 hours, Sat - 12 hours, Sun - 12 hours

Required Qualifications 

Technical Diploma (± 12 years)     

Experience : Minimum 1 year

The base pay for this position is $20.60 – $41.20 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
