Job Purpose:
Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment by performing the following duties.Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
Examines form and texture or parts to detect imperfections.
Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
Repairs or replaces defective parts. Installs special functional and structural parts in devices. Lubricates and cleans parts.
Starts devices to test their performance.
Sets up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
Initiates purchase request for parts and machines. Repairs electrical equipment.
Performs other duties and/ or responsibilities as assigned.
Job Responsibilities:
● Support and maintain ISO 9001 activities and ensure that required processes are maintained.● Maintain, troubleshoot, repair and general fabrication and installation of machines, tools and equipment.
● Manage the maintenance of facility, grounds and utility systems.
● Work with management to maintain waste water and other facility systems; ensuring environmental and government, city and local regulatory compliance.
● Execute Preventative Maintenance Programs on parts inventory, machinery, tools and equipment.
● Maintain and repair in accordance to diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and manufacturer’s specifications, machinery, mechanical equipment, motors
● Perform other duties and/or responsibilities as requested.
Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Less than high school education; one (1) year related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
