Danfoss expects large Commercial and Industrial Heat Pumps to take a greater role in the decarbonization goals of the industry. Your support will help Danfoss to reach growth ambitions in Industrial Heat Pumps. Your support will help Danfoss to reach growth ambitions in Industrial Heat Pumps. You will support the development of and promotion of DCS solutions that provide value to customers and end users by increasing efficiency, reliability, and environmental sustainability of Industrial Heat Pumps. The position will require some international travel activities incl customer visits and industry events. **Job Responsibilities** The position as Industrial Heat Pumps Global Solutions Expert will include (but is not limited to) the following: Support the Danfoss Industrial Heat Pumps Solutions team and Industrial Heat Pump manufacturers with system and applications knowledge of Industrial Heat Pumps. This includes + Provide direct application support for Industrial Heat Pump manufacturers that have strategic importance for Danfoss. + Proposal, evaluation and comparison of design and refrigerant options for Industrial Heat Pumps operating at various conditions and end uses. Use of existing simulation tools in Danfoss (e.g. from A3S team) and cooperation with simulation teams to improve existing tools. + Component selection (compressors, heat exchangers, valves, line components, controllers, etc. from Danfoss as well as from other manufacturers) for projects with heat pump manufacturers. + Develop system level innovation and Intellectual property ideas based on deep understanding of the application, customer needs and industry trends. + Knowledge of relevant legal and normative requirements in relation to Industrial Heat Pumps (e.g. refrigerant legislation, relevant safety standards etc.) + Support New Product Development (NPD) and Tech Exploration projects by detailed specification of customer & application requirements, operating envelopes, mission profiles. + Represent Danfoss during industry events (like conferences, fairs, etc.) related to Industrial Heat Pumps by giving presentations / speeches showcasing Danfoss solutions. + Support creation of technical papers, articles and other publications related to industrial Heat Pumps with input about systems & components as well as descriptions & evaluations of solution options. + Provide trainings related to Industrial Heat Pumps and relevant solutions to customers and internal stakeholders (sales, product management, R&D etc.). **Background & Skills** To succeed in this role, a working experience of +5 years within the large commercial and/or Industrial refrigeration industry is required. You need to have a good understanding of applied thermodynamics and general system design of large refrigeration systems for different refrigerants. You should communicate well in English, both verbally and in writing. You are positive and open-minded towards new tasks and solutions and you consider yourself to be a team player. A self organizing work approach using your strong technical know-how and logical mindset will help you to provide valuable support for positively impacting results. Your personality and networking skills enable you to communicate effectively, in a cross-cultural team with motivated and highly skilled colleagues. The position requires close contact with customers, industry stakeholders (e.g. universities, associations) and relevant Danfoss colleagues.
