Job Description
As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a 20k forklift to safely lift, move, and position 60-foot mobile offices and sea trains. You will ensure that the forklift and its attachments are in safe working condition and secure loads to prevent shifting or damage during transport. Your role will involve navigating tight spaces and uneven terrain with large, heavy cargo while maintaining effective communication with ground crews and spotters.
ResponsibilitiesOperate a 20k forklift to safely lift, move, and position 60-foot mobile offices and sea trains.Inspect forklift and attachments daily to ensure safe operation.Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transport.Navigate tight spaces and uneven terrain with large, heavy cargo.Communicate effectively with ground crews and spotters to ensure safe maneuvering.Perform basic maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly.Maintain accurate records of moves and equipment usage.Adhere to OSHA and company safety standards at all times.Essential SkillsExperience with 20K Sit Down Forklifts.Proficiency in operating industrial equipment.Ability to move 60ft trailers and sea trains.Strong communication skills for coordinating with ground crews.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with pick and reach trucks is a plus.Why Work Here?

This is a Contract position based out of Bakersfield, California.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
