Are you ready to make your next career move to join our team as our Industrial Engineering Specialist (Industrial Engineer) in our Manufacturing Unit located in Torreon - Coahuila?

 

As our next Industrial Engineering Specialist, you will be accountable for identifying improvement opportunities through analyzing manufacturing data sets, flow and through frequent communication with factory by using LEAN Six Sigma methodology.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Industrial Engineer
•    Conduct studies to determine the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow and recommends methods, technology for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. 
•    Analyze and develop manufacturing processes to drive and following up manufacturing targets (Safety, Delivery, Quality, Productivity, Cost) and actions on unit level through safe, innovative and competitive processes
•    Provide engineering service and advice to industrial engineering activities; design FLOW standards by using LEAN methodology, define production methods, technology, factory layout, line level layout, material replenishment and material utilization. 
•    Define Process FMEA base of flow  
•    Execute Manufacturing development action, CAPEX in line with global manufacturing strategy
•    Support NPCI and change management in unit
•    Understand specific client needs or technical specifications, parts drawings, and other engineering data to develop new techniques and estimate time requirements for each step and total cost of the project.

Method Engineer
•    Maintain Manufacturing Master data, MTM, SOP and using Lean Six Sigma approach for continuous improvement
•    Prevent waste and inefficiency
•    Support Daily Management in the factory, evaluate data, identifying technical issues, preparing reports
•    Analyze existing industrial engineering techniques and develop recommendations for changes to working methods that will minimize costs, and time taken; increase yields and productivity; and improve the quality and consistency of final products. 

LEAN Master
•    Ensure LEAN engagement, LEAN capabilities, competences, correct usage of LEAN tools in unit level
•    Lead, organize and facilitate LEAN activities, workshops, KAIZEN, KAIKAKU  in unit
•    Share best practices with other units regarding LEAN

HIRING REQUIREMENTS:

· Completed engineering in processes, automation or manufacturing.

· 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position

· Advanced MS Excel -skills

. Knowledge of Power BI (preferred) Power Automate (preferred)

· Intermediate in both written and verbal English

· AutoCAD, suite or software that facilitates 2D or 3D analysis (Inventor, SolidWorks, CREO).
