Industrial Engineer/Production Planner

Our client, a leading player in the manufacturing sector, is seeking an Industrial Engineer/Production Planner to join their team. As an Industrial Engineer/Production Planner, you will be part of the operations team supporting various internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Industrial Engineer/Production Planner

Location: Dallas, Texas

Pay Range: $80,000 - $110,000

What's the Job?

Develop, prepare, and maintain production schedules to guide production activities and resources for maximum efficiency. Collaborate closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to gather data on materials, inventories, and resource availability. Monitor daily production results and adjust schedules in response to changes in materials flow, designs, or equipment. Utilize ERP systems and planning software to maintain master schedules and generate insightful reports. Identify and troubleshoot production issues or bottlenecks that impact plant capacity and recommend improvements.

What's Needed?

A bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or a related field. A minimum of 4 years of scheduling/planning experience in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in ERP systems and planning/scheduling software. Strong analytical skills to drive insights into efficiency and production rates. Ability to coordinate with various internal stakeholders to develop current and forecasted plans.
