Your new adventure
Do you have a passion for our engines and want to drive forward the industrialization of our components in mechanical production? In this position, you will be responsible for creating new NC programs and defining the tools required for them as part of the NPD process or for other projects, as well as further developing our tool technology.

CAM: NC programming and creation of the necessary documentation for mechanical production (tool lists etc.) Support and further development of the systems used (CAM system, tool database)Definition of the tools and further development of the tool technology with the manufacturersClarification of the feasibility of the component design with R&D and the Industrial Engineering NPD and Design team (feasibility studies, concept development)Ensuring the qualitative, timely and cost-effective fulfillment of the NC and tool work packages for products to be industrialized, and cost-related fulfilment of the NC and tool work packages for products to be industrializedResponsibility for the availability of tools and programs in series production at the required time, in the best quality and at the lowest costSupport for production during the run-in and optimization of NC programs and tools (e.g. tool life optimization and problem solving). e.g. tool life optimization) and problem-solving support on the store floorCoordination of tool assembly and change management with regard to tools and programs

 

Your skills and experiences

Completed apprenticeship or HTL in the field of machining technology, production technology, mechanical engineering, toolmaking Relevant professional experience in a manufacturing industrial company Several years of experience in CAM programming, ideally with NX CAM Specialist knowledge in the design and selection of machining tools for various technologies (e.g. turning, milling, grinding, ...). E.g. turning, milling, grinding, ...)Know-how in dealing with 3D CAD systems, preferably CREO and NX CADIndependent way of working, willingness to deal with new developments and innovations, to recognize improvements and to actively promote themVery good German as well as good English skills are a prerequisite

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 52,197.04 gross/year in accordance with the collective agreement for the metal industry. Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, we offer an attractive and performance-related salary with corresponding overpayment.
