This position is for an Industrial Engineer supporting F-35 Final Systems Checkout.
This role will be responsible for the integration of functional Industrial Engineering solutions in the F-35 Final Systems Checkout area in shop floor support and by analyzing and developing production plans, creating and monitoring production health metrics, and continuous improvement activities.
Individual will strive to enhance all production related activities through the use of automation techniques and a variety of software. Individual may have opportunities to perform as project manager. Will work closely with Industrial Engineering, Production Management, and a variety of Production support functions.
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience applying Industrial Engineering principles in industry, which could include, production scheduling, manufacturing/labor estimating, or capacity/resource planning.
Desired Skills:
Desired skills :
- Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering.
- Experience with analytical and project planning tools and software, including MS Office Suite.
- Experience with statistical analysis (regression analysis, statistical process control, R, Python, Tableau, etc.).
- Experience with database operations (data mining, SQL statements).
- Experience Working with Business Objects (BO) and Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).
- Experience with Assembly EVMS Processes.
- Lean/Six Sigma Certification (Black Belt, Green Belt, PDCA/ 5s/ 6s, etc.) or experience applying Lean manufacturing principles & implementing continuous improvements.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
