Our team provides a very high level of technical support while keeping a laser focus on our excellent quality. This position provides the opportunity for independent action and working in a team environment to achieve department goals while considering safety, quality, schedule, and cost to determine priorities. This role demands a “people person” that can interface well with production personnel, management, and other support organizations. If selected, you will become familiar with **Collins Aerospace** products, lean manufacturing objectives, test philosophy, and state of the art manufacturing techniques. **Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run May/June- December (including the Fall semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity).**
**What You Will Do:**
+ Support manufacturing processes including: equipment, floor layouts, work sequence, work instructions, procedures, and work flow.
+ Conduct studies on cost control, productivity, cost reduction, inventory, and production record systems.
+ Review products/processes for quality, safety, and producibility risks and work with design to incorporate changes to eliminate the risks
+ Design and 3D print fixtures and tooling to aid in process improvement.
+ Independently resolve problems that are difficult and often complex.
+ Develop tactical plans to manage day-to-day challenges.

**Qualifications You Must Have:**
+ Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
