You will be an Industrial Engineering Asc. team member at Lockheed Martin's Archbald facility, responsible for implementing process improvements and utilizing data analytics tools to optimize production areas. What You Will Be Doing
As an Industrial Engineering Asc. team member, you will be responsible for using business process applications and tools to gather and analyze data, presenting recommendations to project teams and leadership, and utilizing lean six sigma methods and simulation tools to optimize production processes. You will also be responsible for using 2D/3D modeling tools to assist in the planning and design of manufacturing cells and layouts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop functional area excellence plans, and improving capacity planning and execution of production work.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Using business process applications and tools to gather and analyze data to improve productivity
• Presenting recommendations to project teams and leadership
• Utilizing lean six sigma methods and simulation tools to optimize production processes
• Using 2D/3D modeling tools to assist in the planning and design of manufacturing cells and layouts
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop functional area excellence plans
• Improving capacity planning and execution of production work
• Working with Manufacturing Engineering and Facilities to identify, procure, and implement capital equipment and material handling systems
• Assisting in the investigation of non-conformance issues and initiating corrective actions
• Tracking and reporting cost and schedule performance to ensure project success
• Establishing hazard prevention measures and personnel training programs for production operations


MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree in Industrial Eng, Manufacturing Eng, or other Engineering related discipline from an accredited college
• Familiarity with lean/six-sigma/DMAIC manufacturing methods and techniques
• Familiarity with 2D/3D modeling programs such as Auto-CAD and CREO
• Ability to define problems, collect/analyze data and make the necessary improvements to achieve desired performance
• Ability to obtain a secret security clearance so must be a US Citizen
Desired Skills:
• Previous manufacturing experience including any related internships
• Tableau/SQL/Python/Data Analytics/Database experience
• Use of simulation modeling to analyze and improve production process flow
• Excellent root cause and corrective action analysis skills for resolving issues
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment or independently to solve problems in a timely manner
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
