Job DescriptionOverview:
Develop immersive, mixed-reality applications for Apple Vision Pro (visionOS) and macOS that bring transportation design concepts to life. Work closely with designers and visualization experts to create interactive environments for product visualization, design reviews, and virtual simulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop real-time applications for visionOS and macOS tailored to transportation design visualization.
Collaborate with designers and visualization teams to translate vehicle designs into immersive mixed-reality experiences.
Build interactive applications for design reviews, virtual walkarounds, and in-cab simulations.
Track and measure user interactions to inform and validate design decisions.
Create photorealistic, interactive 3D visualizations using spatial computing tools.
Prototype intuitive, spatial UX interfaces optimized for industrial and commercial vehicle workflows.
Optimize application performance, interactivity, and scalability for Apple AVP platforms.
Integrate 3D assets from CAD and visualization tools into real-time AR experiences.
QualificationsRequired Skills & Experience:
Proficiency in Objective-C, C++, C, and Swift; familiarity with Python and Java.
Strong understanding of iOS/macOS system libraries, frameworks, and GPU/CPU architecture.
Expertise with Swift concurrency APIs.
Solid knowledge of AR/VR spatial computing, scene optimization, and real-time performance tuning.
Proficiency in 3D software such as Rhino, Alias, Blender, or similar CAD tools.
Experience rendering with tools like KeyShot, VRED, Unreal Engine.
Proven ability to convert/optimize complex CAD models for AR.
Strong grasp of materials, lighting, and scene composition for photorealistic visuals.
Experience in design workflows within transportation/mobility sectors.
Ability to prototype/test UI/UX flows for mixed-reality apps.
Cross-functional collaboration skills with engineering, product, and design teams.
Familiarity with 3D asset pipelines using Blender, Autodesk tools, Unity, and native Apple frameworks like SwiftUI.
Preferred Skills:
Advanced mathematics for 3D real-time applications (linear algebra).
Human-centered design and interactive AR/VR prototyping.
Automotive or transportation industry experience.
Portfolio of mixed-reality applications or visualization tools.
