Position Summary:

The role manages the product industrialization phase, planning activities for the creation of new products and the optimization of existing projects, including cost reduction activities.
Defines individual project objectives and ensures the quality of work performed at each stage of the design cycle.
Interacts with customers and suppliers from a technical and development perspective.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Control of correct mold production or modifications during processing at external workshops
Management of dimensional and functional testing protocols to ensure compliance with product specifications.
Preparation of all technical documentation for economic evaluations and for drafting the bill of materials
Mechanical design and simulation: includes mechanical calculations, various simulations, prototype testing and drawing execution, planning, collection and analysis of test results, FMEA cost analysis.
