Please note that due to Department of Defense contract requirements, U.S. CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED.   Job Responsibilities Working with customers to determine the design requirements Brainstorming ideas and creating models Designing products with the needs and wants of a specific audience in mind, including human factors, branding, use models, etc. Creating drawings by sketching and using 3D CAD software that visually depicts design ideas Working with design technology Collaborating with mechanical engineers and manufacturing personnel Evaluating fabrication methods and trade-offs Participating in internal design reviews Participating in product testing Determining whether a design is practical by gauging product safety and function   Position Requirements BS in Industrial Design Engineering 3+ years in an Industrial Design Engineering Role Some mechanical design experience is preferred Experience using CAD software (SolidWorks is a preferred) Works well in a team environment Effectively communicates with customers and suppliers Good presentation skills Sanmina is an Equal Opportunity Employer – M/F/Veteran/Disability/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity.   This is an ITAR facility and applicants must be a US Citizen.
